My client is a highly respected large wealth management firm where a rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced senior paraplanner / manager to join the team. This is a first class vacancy for someone truly wanting to make their mark, utilise experience and add value during an evolving time in their history due to an acquisition.
The role will be exceptionally in depth with client facing elements as and when you gain expertise. Primarily it will involve; Preparation of Suitability Reports, Liaising with product provider to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts. Providing technical support to the team with paraplanning and research support, Carrying out market research on behalf of adviser prior to meeting. Assist in the on-going due diligence reviews of investment funds and Platforms, Provide appropriate support to the Financial Adviser / MD.
Along with this if you wish the role can be tailored to have oversight of the team and act as a manager to assist in their ongoing growth.
To be consider you must be experienced within an IFA or investment manager. Either having completed your chartered exams or have made significant progress towards. Your background will include both Pensions and Investments with excellent report writing skills. Defined benefit experience would be a plus. Experience of using research tools and cash flow modelling would be advantageous.
