Our client is an award winning pensions company with offices across central Scotland. Due to expansion, they are recruiting for a Senior defined benefit administrator, or someone with experience in final salary schemes to work within their close knit team. The job is available due to new business wins and further expansion, and the successful applicant will be in a key role working at the forefront of the team, also managing your own set of DB and some DC schemes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a set of DB and some DC schemes.
- Interact with trustees, actuaries and HNW individuals/employers.
- Quality checking, training/coaching involved working at a senior level and elements of client facing time.
Qualifications
- Previous technical defined benefit / final salary pensions experience is essential.
- Experience in client management and defined contribution schemes would be beneficial.
- Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable, but not essential.
- A background within a third party environment would be ideal but not essential.
- Technical knowledge of cradle to grave pensions administration, a thorough understanding of scheme rules and current legislation, and project management.
