Overview Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Development client with the appointment of a Project Manager to be the focal point of their Development and Consenting team based in Scotland. Our client is one of the UK\’s leading Developers of Grid Scale Battery Storage projects with a strong pipeline of projects.About the role Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you\’ll work closely with colleagues to progress projects from Land Acquisition stage through to gaining full consent for the project.What you\’ll be doing Managing renewable energy projects through the development phase.Creating and tracking project schedules, monitoring timescales and dependencies to ensure projects remain on track.Leading multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver shared objectives.Assessing site suitability and making strategic decisions regarding site viability.Reviewing and managing design packs for planning submissions and post-consent amendments.Preparing and managing tenders, contracts, and invoices.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders.Facilitating best-in-class community engagement.Reporting on project progress, KPIs, risks, and costs.Ensuring quality standards are met and governance requirements for investment decisions are satisfied.Role Requirements Experienced in a Planning, Consenting, Environmental role or broader Project Management function developing renewable energy projects.Able to work from the Edinburgh office (up to 3 days per week – negotiable).Driver\’s Licence.Package Details Salary of up to £75,000 dependent on experience.Private medical care with Bupa (household included).Enhanced pension scheme.EV salary sacrifice scheme + cycle-to-work scheme.30 days of leave including Bank Holidays + extra leave over the holidays.Access to free, confidential counselling and other wellbeing resources through our Employee Assistance Programme.Life assurance scheme at 6x salary.Location Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working.How to apply To apply for this position please send your CV to stuart.mitchell@edenscott.com
