We are supporting a leading renewable energy consultancy in the search for an experienced Principal EIA Consultant to lead and deliver onshore renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. This role combines project direction, staff mentoring, and expert planning and consenting advice on nationally significant developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of consultants, supporting project delivery, mentoring, and resourcing.
  • Provide expert planning advice across Section 36, TCPA, DCO, and DNS applications.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, including regulators and statutory bodies.
  • Oversee the full EIA process - scoping, coordination, reporting, submission, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of multiple renewable projects.
  • Support bid writing, tenders, and client relationship management.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving planning and environmental legislation.
