Eden Scott's Accountancy & Finance Division is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded Accountancy Practice in Kirkcaldy in their search for a Payroll Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a supportive and reputable firm offering ongoing training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing across a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls from start to finish
- Maintain accurate employee records including hours, deductions, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements
- Handle payroll queries and liaise with clients professionally
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external use
- Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvements
