A leading financial planning firm with regional offices is recruiting for a Paraplanner manager or team lead to work on a hybrid basis from one of their offices. This would be an excellent move for a senior or technical paraplanner to take the next step in their career and manage a successful close-knit team, or an experienced manager to slot into the role. We are looking for professionals who are ideally minimum diploma qualified, having worked supporting advisers, and ultimately clients in the advice-giving process. This is a great opportunity to develop existing and new skills, as well as expand your knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, manage, train and develop high calibre Paraplanners
- Train, mentor and monitor new and existing employees
- Supporting, developing and mentoring candidates
- First line checks on quality of reports, turnaround times and adherence to processes
- Working alongside the management team in practice-based activities
- Carrying out work in line with internal and external FCA regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business
To be considered you must have previous experience working as a paraplanner ideally with diploma working towards chartered - but experience is key. You’ll be driven, have strong IT, good written and verbal communication skills and feel confident in guiding a team.
