A well-established financial services firm, due to ongoing growth, has a number of paraplanner positions, including remote 6‑month FTC and permanent positions working hybrid from central Edinburgh. In this role, you’ll be central to the financial planning process, supporting advisers and clients with technical expertise and detailed analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Crafting tailored financial reports and suitability letters.
  • Conducting research and modelling to support client recommendations.
  • Preparing tax calculations and financial plans.
  • Liaising with providers to gather investment and product information.
  • Supporting client meetings and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on complex cases and sharing best practices.
Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of paraplanning experience.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent), or progress towards it.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent written communication and report‑writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • A proactive, organised approach to managing workload independently.
