An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is looking for a progression route from Senior Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or FP&A disciplines into a role as the UK Financial Controller of a small but fast-growing company.
You will join a rapidly growing and expanding company in the manufacturing sector who have recently moved to a new facility in anticipation of forecasted growth. This role will play a key part in managing financial operations, partnering with the business to control costs, reporting to the CFO and being a key support to the local CEO.
A professionally qualified accountant with 5 years' experience overall, you will hold an ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA or other recognised professional accounting membership. Experience gained in the manufacturing or a related sector, you will know stock, inventory, cost controls and how important it is to manage costs in a fastâgrowing business.
Expertise in Management Accounting, analysing this information and presenting reports that help management to make decisions, taking this one step further as an active business partner. P&L reporting and management, forecasting, analysis and what could broadly be termed in the FP&A disciplines would be ideal experience to help plan for success.
Commercially minded, both in supporting topâline revenue growth activities and of supporting bottomâline profitability through cost control. You will work with the Group Finance team in France to ensure that the UK business is fully compliant with regulations and supporting group improvement initiatives for the finance function.
