Job Description
Legal Secretary – Aberdeen (Maternity Cover)
Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our longstanding client toappoint a highly motivated, efficient and experienced Legal Secretary, to provide secretarial support to our Family Law and Civil Litigation Professionals within their busy Court Department, as a maternity cover placement.
Duties will entail:-
Preparing and processing legal documentation and forms, using case management systems and databases where applicable.
Audio and copy typing.
Diary management.
Communicating with clients and third parties in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
Document management and filing.
Cash work and typing of accounts and fees.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 09h00 to 17h15, inclusive of a 1 hour lunch break, which shall be taken at the direction of the Firm.
Preference will be given to candidates who are Legal Secretaries with demonstrable experience of working within Family Law and Civil Litigation.
Excellent client relation, interpersonal and communication skills required.
Applicants must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as the ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly.
Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, typing, as well as strong IT and administrative skills required.
