Land Surveyor

A leading surveying consultancy based in Aberdeen has an exciting opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of projects using cutting-edge surveying technologies.

Operating across multiple sectors, the organisation delivers a comprehensive range of services-including utilities surveys, laser scanning, mobile mapping, drone surveys, and 3D modelling-by integrating traditional surveying methods with advanced technologies to produce accurate, data-rich outputs.

The role involves end-to-end surveying using advanced tools such as total stations, GNSS, laser scanners, aerial LiDAR, and mobile mapping systems. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, attending project briefings, processing data, and producing final outputs. The position offers a mix of independent and team-based work, with travel opportunities both in the UK and abroad.

Applicants should be proficient with survey instrumentation and managing survey output. Experience in a related sole such as Land Surveyor, Setting-out Engineer or Survey Engineer is desired or a degree in Surveying or a related qualification, with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
