Job Description

My client offers a dynamic, flexible workplace and seeks an IT Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate IT functions-focusing on strategy and service management rather than hands-on or man management tasks.

About the role:
You will support the Head of IT & Change with the management of day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the business' IT needs are being met and prioritised and deputise when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and service providers to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
  • Ensure operational stability and drive digital transformation, including evaluating current IT system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting strategic Alignment IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage change, release processes, IT risks, and cyber security.
  • Act as the key liaison between business and IT, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing change and release processes to ensure risks are appropriately evaluated and managed, and best practice is followed.

Experience in:

  • IT management/oversight.
  • Strong alignment of IT projects with business strategy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with Managed IT Service Providers.
  • SharePoint Administration and ITIL Foundation (desirable).
