My client is a highly reputable and well regarded IFA practice in Edinburgh. A new opportunity has become available for an Office Manager to join this stable IFA firm as they continue to grow. This is an excellent opportunity if you are already working as IFA support and are looking to progress your career and undertake additional team management tasks in due course, ideally working in an adviser's office currently as a manager.

Duties will include day to day administration such as:

  • Processing applications
  • Chasing outstanding information
  • Dealing with external companies
  • Assisting other support staff with workloads
  • Working alongside your adviser hand in hand, covering both private client and corporate
  • Helping less experienced staff as required

Ideally, you will be working within another IFA and/or experienced in the wealth management sector in a support role with various software packages and platform knowledge and take pride in your work, delivering to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity to move to team management in due course if you wished, progress, but not into a fully technical paraplanning role, focusing on your strengths within client administration. Getting involved with workshops, training and development is also a possibility.
