An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to join the senior management team of a highly respected contractor based in Inverness. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of all commercial activities across a diverse portfolio of civils projects throughout the Highlands and North of Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, procurement, budgeting, financial reporting, subcontract administration, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. This position would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working autonomously and has the confidence to challenge existing practices, improve processes, and drive commercial performance. The company is seeking someone who can become a trusted advisor to directors/ownership and help support the next phase of growth. With a strong pipeline of secured work and ambitious expansion plans, there is genuine scope to build and develop the commercial team, with intention to appoint a Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the near future, where mentorship and support will be required.
