We are seeking an accomplished leader to steer our Research Contracts Team ensuring excellence in delivery of our research contracting services, supporting the University’s research ambitions.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Key Responsibilities- Steer the Research Contracts Team, ensuring excellence in delivery of research contracting services and supporting the University’s research ambitions.
- An experienced leader of large teams providing frontline services, ideally in a higher education research environment.
- Demonstrated experience with increasing responsibilities and having a recognised legal or research management qualification.
- Substantial experience in research contracting in the UK and overseas.
- Demonstrated success in service improvement initiatives, resource planning and workload management.
- A highly proactive and creative thinker, skilled in motivating diverse teams and collaborating effectively in large organisations.
