Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a leading investment firm to recruit an Investment Data Analyst to join its Investment Operations function. This role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office and two days working from home. It offers a unique blend of operational responsibility and data development, enabling a data‑driven culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse client, operational, and business data to support Investment Operations processes
- Develop and maintain firm‑wide MI reporting and dashboards
- Build Power BI dashboards and utilise Python to automate manual processes and enhance data efficiency
- Deliver key operational processes, including reconciliations, corporate actions, regulatory reporting, and client reporting
- Support the smooth running of front and middle office systems
- Drive improvements in data usage, automation, and operational efficiency
- Contribute to building a strong data‑driven culture across the organisation
- Participate in project work, including regulatory, strategic, and operational improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience – Essential
- Previous experience in Financial Services in an operations or data role
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of financial markets and investment operations
- Knowledge of data structures and databases
- Experience with tools such as Bloomberg Terminal or Dynamics 365
