Grid Manager β Renewable Energy Developer β Scotland
Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Renewable Energy Developer client with the appointment of a Grid Manager to join their team. Our client is one of the most established developers of Renewable Energy projects in Scotland with a strong pipeline of assets and significant repowering opportunities. The Grid Manager will have a technical background with an understanding of engineering and regulatory aspects.
Responsibilities
- Provide grid input for new site search activities.
- Secure and modify grid connection agreements per project strategy.
- Negotiate grid technical requirements and prepare contract documents.
- Identify, challenge, and track grid liabilities; advise on connection agreement strategies to manage risk.
- Provide accurate grid connection cost information.
- Conduct grid connection feasibility studies for new sites.
- Identify optimal grid connection solutions considering operational factors.
- Ensure grid connection agreements align with construction needs.
- Collaborate with HV Electrical for Construction, Operations and liaise with Senior Grid Manager.
- Manage grid-related contracts and act as point of contact with NESO, TOs and DNOs.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in an Engineering / Technical discipline
- Experience working on Grid Connection projects
Salary and hours
Salary: Up to Β£80,000 dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week
