Production Operators required for our busy Engineering and Manufacturing client based in Renfrewshire due to continued growth and expansion. We have a requirement for a hands-on CNC Production Operative who will report to the Production Manager on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Candidates must have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator / Turner essential
- Experienced in the use of Fanuc controls including Live Tooling
- Preferable experience of Operating a HAAS
- Ability to read from technical drawings
- Used to working to tight tolerances
- Setting experience without supervision
- Experience and ability of editing programs
- Experience in small volume, high value production environment
- Fully aware of the HSE requirements of working on live machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Works to achieve set production times and targets
Working pattern of 35 hours over 4 days:
- Working Pattern A – Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:30
- Working Pattern B – Tuesday to Friday 07:15 – 16:30
Hourly Rate: £16 to £18 per hour depending on experience
