Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a well-established financial services firm in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Client Relationship Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator with financial services experience to join a professional, client-focused environment supporting advisers and paraplanners. The successful individual will play a key role in providing administrative and client service support to financial advisers and paraplanners, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of client accounts and delivering a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client communications, including responding to enquiries, providing updates, and scheduling meetings
- Processing new business applications, fund switches, withdrawals and other client instructions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining client records and ensuring documentation is updated and filed in line with compliance and FCA requirements
- Liaising with product providers to obtain valuations, policy information and resolve queries
- Providing administrative support to advisers and paraplanners throughout the advice process
- Ensuring all client interactions are logged and documented appropriately
- Supporting new client onboarding, including preparation of welcome packs and completion of compliance checks
- Monitoring workflow to ensure tasks are completed within agreed service standards
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and client service delivery
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a financial services administration or client servicing role
- Strong understanding of financial products, including pensions, investments and protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable:
- Experience using platforms such as Intelligent Office, Fincalc and FE Analytics
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance procedures
- Working towards industry qualifications (e.g. CII Certificate or Diploma)
