Eden Scott's Client is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Client Account Manager to join a growing Financial Services Administration team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and enjoys supporting advisers and paraplanners in delivering an exceptional service.
As a Client Account Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients. You’ll be responsible for managing client communications, processing financial documentation, and supporting the advice process from start to finish. You’ll build strong working relationships with advisers, paraplanners, and product providers, ensuring all administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client communications, respond to queries, and schedule adviser meetings
- Process new business applications, fund switches, withdrawals, and other client instructions
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation meets compliance requirements
- Liaise with product providers to obtain valuations and policy information
- Support advisers and paraplanners with all administrative aspects of client accounts
- Log and document all client interactions appropriately
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including preparing welcome packs and carrying out compliance checks
- Monitor workflow to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed service levels
- Contribute ideas to improve administrative processes and enhance client service
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services administration or a client servicing role
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Desirable: Experience with Intelligent Office, Selectapension, Fincalc, or FE Analytics
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance processes
- Working towards or interested in pursuing industry qualifications (e.g., CII Certificate/Diploma)
