Eden Scott’s Accountancy & Finance Division is delighted to be partnering again with a highly respected organisation in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Accountant for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with the potential to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who has achieved their professional qualification and is looking to broaden their exposure across a wide range of finance activities in a supportive, close‑knit team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will gain experience in financial controls, business partnering, management reporting, financial modelling and month‑end delivery. The organisation has a strong track record of developing and retaining talent and previous contractors have given consistently positive feedback about the culture and team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month‑end close and assist with production of management accounts.
- Contribute to financial modelling, forecasting and wider commercial analysis.
- Strengthen and maintain financial controls across the finance function.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, providing effective business partnering support.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting and internal review processes.
- Help streamline and improve finance processes as part of continuous improvement.
- Produce accurate financial information and ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
