Job Description

The position offers a challenging role in a dynamic and supportive team where you will be responsible for the financial reporting for a specific region and you'll be responsible for generating financial reports and financial statements for key stakeholders.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and management accounts when required
  • Provide explanations and information to external auditors related to the Group financial statements and entity statutory financial statements
  • Support the Internal Audit process, providing explanations and information as required
  • Compliance with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring financial controls are addressed within deadlines set
  • Preparation of reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances in significant entities

In addition:

  • Identify areas of process improvements and propose potential solutions to establish best practice and process standardisation
  • Champion standard ways of working with colleagues within the company finance community
  • Offer support and coaching within the team
  • Support to resolve any financial reporting queries in a timely and effective manner
  • Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, applicable local accounting standards, local legislation and group accounting policies; be a qualified or nearly qualified accountant with audits and accounts preparation experience. Experience within large multinational companies or large teams would be advantageous.
