Finance Project Manager

We are supporting our longstanding client as they add a Finance Project Manager to their team, to prepare accurate management information in a timely manner and support Operation’s financial requirements, overseeing a team of 3.

You should be familiar with reporting under local statutory reporting requirements, and international experience is a plus.

In this varied role, your duties will include:

Finance:

• Supporting in developing a short and long term plan as well as rolling forecast for the projects and programs being supported.
• Managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and project accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately, which includes the monthly issuing of all sales invoices.
• Preparing monthly internal and external reporting.
• Recording forecast and free cash flow at project level.
• Preparing project close entries and making necessary adjustments to data entry errors.
• Calculation of yearly chargeable rate.
• Support variance analysis and reconciliations.

Commercial:

• Support Project Managers and project teams when looking at profitability.
• Supporting commercial processes such as pricing up proposals and setting annual chargeability rates.

Compliance:

• Assist the regional finance lead in external SOX compliance and testing and external regulatory reporting/compliance.
• Help drive implementation of financial standards in the organization.
• Monitor compliance with the company’s financial regulations and introduce robust business systems which comply with the accounting requirements and meet the needs of the company.
• Supporting tax reporting requirements.

Other:

• Support asset management and customer collection.
• Support UAT testing.

You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and have relevant experience within a similar role to include an understanding of cost accounting principles and the provisions of the SOX.
