Eden Scott is working with a client in Edinburgh who is seeking a Wealth & Trust Manager. The successful individual will manage their own portfolio of trusts, delivering a high-quality service across all administrative, compliance and trust accounting requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring that client affairs are handled accurately, efficiently and with the utmost professionalism.
You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues and have the space to develop your skills, while contributing to the ongoing improvement and smooth running of the trust function.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a dedicated portfolio of trusts, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard
- Preparing trust accounts and associated documentation (not an accounting role)
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, reporting and statutory deadlines
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, advisers, and legal professionals
- Maintaining accurate, well-organised records and overseeing the full lifecycle of trust work
- Contributing to enhanced processes, workflow improvements and best practice
- (For more experienced applicants) Supporting junior team members and offering informal guidance
- 3–5 years’ experience in trust administration or trust management
- A relevant qualification such as SOLAS or another trust-specific certification (highly preferred)
- Strong technical understanding of trust accounting processes
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Confidence communicating with clients and professional advisers
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A desire to continue developing professionally within a respected team
