An award winning Consultancy has a unique opportunity for a Qualified Pensions Actuary to join their team within a consultative role working from either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The company has recently grown, won new business and obtained new projects.
As such they require an individual to work at a senior level, to provide a high quality actuarial service to their clients within their private sector pensions team.
Responsibilities Provide high quality actuarial service to private sector pensions clients.
Focus on technical aspects while building relationships with key decision makers.
Account manage and deliver service to clients.
Drive proactive business growth and mentor less experienced team members.
Participate in the preparation of technical papers for internal and external publications.
Develop new propositions and services for the firm.
Lead marketing and new business activity for the company.
Qualifications Fellow member of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries, or equivalent actuarial qualification.
Solid technical pensions background covering joined up investment, actuarial advice and valuations within the private/public sector.
Experience with bulk transfers and knowledge of employee benefits issues.
