Eden Scott’s client, a leading financial services organisation based in Edinburgh, is seeking an Investor Onboarding Operations Manager (AML/KYC). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced onboarding or compliance professional to take ownership of the technology, processes, and governance frameworks supporting investor onboarding, AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will act as the operational and system lead for core onboarding and AML platforms ensuring they are correctly configured, consistently used, and fully aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure onboarding and AML/KYC systems comply with internal policies, controls, and global regulatory standards.
- Support risk management, compliance reviews, and audits through documentation, reporting, and system access oversight.
- Maintain strong governance around system usage, controls, and data integrity.
- Manage system configuration, workflow creation, and ongoing enhancements.
- Oversee accurate and controlled data migrations.
- Configure onboarding workflows to support smooth, compliant investor journeys.
- Train and support users across operations, front office, and compliance.
- Produce user guides, process documentation, and knowledge‑base materials.
- Monitor usage patterns and reinforce correct system processes.
- Lead testing and implementation of new features and system upgrades.
- Liaise with system vendors for troubleshooting and roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with compliance, IT, legal, and operations to ensure systems support evolving business needs.
- Strong understanding of AML/KYC standards and investor onboarding processes.
- Experience working with onboarding and/or AML systems.
- Good knowledge of global regulatory requirements and jurisdictional differences.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Awareness of FATCA and CRS reporting.
- Experience within control, governance, or compliance‑focused environments.
- Strong interest in technology, systems optimisation, and process improvement.
