Candidates must have strong experience of delivering FP&A services within the energy sector or other capital intensive business with a combination of operational cash-generating assets and assets under development. This is a critical hire at an exciting stage of growth, with new investment expected this year and an ambitious roadmap to deliver significant GW of operational capacity in the next 5-6 years.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the FP&A function and be responsible for delivering best-in-class financial planning, analysis, and insight across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and embedding an FP&A function that will cover all companies and ventures within the business.
- Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, with the aim of producing high-quality management reporting and decision-focused financial insights.
- Producing reports for the Board, Executive Team and handling direct communications with company investors and other external stakeholders.
- Partnering with Commercial, Development, Construction and Asset Management teams to challenge assumptions and improve planning accuracy.
- Enhancing FP&A processes, models, systems, and reporting capabilities in order to establish a best-in-class function.
- Overseeing consolidated financial models and ensuring strong governance and financial discipline is a key aspect of company activity.
