Eden Scott is working with a market-leading client to hire a skilled Commercial Lead to join on a permanent basis. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of commercial sales activity; you'll have ownership of commercial strategy whilst also driving strong business pipelines and new business acquisition. You'll work with all areas of the business to ensure that sales strategy is aligned to wider business goals as well as ensuring the delivery of key client projects.

You'll have a passion for technology; you'll be the first to industry events and will enjoy engaging with senior and executive level stakeholders within tech.

In order to be successful in your application, you must have:

  • A proven track record of commercial leadership within a technology or digital environment
  • A passion for sales and new business development...with the numbers to back it up!
  • Knowledge of the Scottish tech market (ideally you'll have existing relationships and contacts within your own network) with the ability to engage with senior and executive level stakeholders in order to sell cutting-edge technology solutions and projects
  • Strong technology knowledge; you'll have an eye on the latest trends and emerging tech with the ability to talk tech with the techies!
  • A strategic sales mindset; you'll have the ability to spot new opportunities as well as the tenacity to acquire them
