Due to continued growth, a well-established Chartered Financial Adviser firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑focused individual who enjoys supporting advisers and playing a key role in delivering high‑quality financial planning, working on a hybrid work basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing client files and maintaining accurate electronic records
  • Supporting advisers with pre‑meeting preparation and, where appropriate, attending meetings
  • Conducting financial research and analysis to support advice delivery
  • Producing suitability reports, review documentation, and client correspondence
  • Creating illustrations, cash‑flow modelling, and product comparisons
  • Assisting with portfolio reviews, including risk profiling and asset allocation analysis
  • Working collaboratively with administration colleagues to ensure smooth processing of paperwork and communications
  • Identifying planning opportunities within existing client arrangements (such as investments, pensions, or tax‑efficient wrappers)
  • Ensuring all work complies with FCA requirements and internal compliance procedures

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within financial planning
  • Holding, or actively working towards, CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Strong written skills with the ability to produce clear, professional client reports
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with advisers and support teams
