An exciting opportunity has now arisen to join their team as Director of Sales & Marketing to join their award-winning team. They are looking for a proactive team leader, that thrives in driving revenue and is passionate about the hospitality industry.

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for maximising sales, driving the hotel brand, and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Sales and Marketing function of the hotel. Inclusive of managing the sales, marketing, events, and revenue teams, harmonising the culture and brand, continuously driving standards, guest experience and revenue of the resort.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Working with the General Manager, Revenue Manager, Cluster Revenue Manager and Group Director of Sales & Marketing to deliver strategic business plans. Inclusive of an annual sales & marketing plan, aligned with the hotel objectives and budget.
  • Manage the Revenue, Sales, Marketing and Events teams, driving individual development, achieving individual KPI\'s, team goals and revenue targets. Establishing a positive and cohesive team culture.
  • Responsible for driving revenue across all segments, achieving revenue targets. Identifying new business, securing groups, contracting transient accounts, and developing established key accounts.
  • Attend and manage the sales & marketing team\'s attendance at tradeshows, industry events, hosting FAM & press trips and arranging client hotel events, as and when required. This will include some international travel throughout the year.
  • Manage sales & marketing expense budget & forecasts are in line with hotel expectations and parameters.
  • Working closely with the GDOSM and the Sales & Marketing Executive to ensure all key campaigns, brand, advertising, and marketing strategies are adhered to. Including reputation management online.
  • Complete monthly, weekly, and annual reporting as and when required.
  • Work alongside the Cluster Revenue Manager, and General Manager to create up to date forecasts throughout the year.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor\'s, tourism body initiatives and relationships. Review/amend strategies accordingly in line with the evolving market conditions and the hotels future plans.

Key skills and experience required:

  • We are seeking candidates from England, Wales or Scotland who wish to re-locate to Ireland for this role.
  • Applying candidates must have 3 years\' experience in a senior sales position such as DOSM or ADOSM in the luxury sector of the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills
