Eden Scott's Client is seeking a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst for 12 months, based in Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

As a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring our investment management agreements (IMAs) and related client documentation are accurately maintained, reviewed, and aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will act as a liaison between internal stakeholders—including Legal, Compliance, and Client Services—and external clients to ensure a seamless governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, update, and maintain IMA and client contractual documentation.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure contractual terms meet regulatory standards and firm policies.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients and the amendment process for existing agreements.
  • Coordinate with Investment, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and implemented.
  • Track key client governance deliverables and assist in preparing for client reviews, audits, and governance meetings.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of client governance processes and documentation control.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in client governance or a similar function within asset/investment management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), pooled fund documentation, and side letters.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FCA, MiFID II, UCITS/AIFMD).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
