A well-established environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Ecological Clerk of Works to join its growing team. This field-based role focuses on ensuring ecological compliance on construction sites and advising stakeholders on habitat protection and species mitigation. Location: Perth, Scotland. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Professional Development: 20 CPD days annually. Regular travel to active sites throughout the Central Belt, including wind farms, solar installations, utility corridors, and housing developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ecological supervision and monitoring on construction sites
  • Provide practical, site-specific ecological guidance to contractors and clients
  • Ensure adherence to environmental legislation, planning conditions, and mitigation protocols
  • Record ecological observations and incidents, and produce clear reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and internal teams
