We’re looking for a Corporate Category Manager to lead and shape the corporate spend strategy across a diverse and dynamic organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver category strategies that unlock savings, improve supplier performance, and align with organisational goals.
- Lead tender processes from start to finish, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and internal policies.
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring continuous improvement and value for money.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement compliance.
- Monitor market trends and provide expert advice on products, suppliers, and commercial opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives, including sustainability and policy development.
- Lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms, and manage procurement risks effectively.
- Collaborate across teams, including finance and other category managers, to deliver joined-up procurement solutions.
- Contribute to system development, enhancing procurement platforms and processes.
What You’ll Bring
- Full or working towards full MCIPS membership.
- Proven procurement experience in the public or private sector.
- Strong understanding of UK and Scottish procurement legislation (EU/GPA).
- Experience in leading projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with procurement platforms.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
