Eden Scott's Accountancy & Finance Division is pleased to be supporting a well-regarded Accountancy Practice in Kirkcaldy in their search for a Bookkeeper.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and reputable firm offering ongoing training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of bookkeeping duties, including VAT returns and accounts preparation, across a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure compliance
  • Support internal reporting and audit preparation
