Eden Scott's Accountancy & Finance Division is pleased to be supporting a well-regarded Accountancy Practice in Kirkcaldy in their search for a Bookkeeper.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and reputable firm offering ongoing training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of bookkeeping duties, including VAT returns and accounts preparation, across a varied client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure compliance
- Support internal reporting and audit preparation
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a practice environment
