A leading organisation is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented IT professional for an initial 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on workload. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on technical challenges.
The focus: You will be supporting a Windows 11 upgrade project, which includes replacing memory and hard disks in laptops undergoing the upgrade. Prior experience with similar hardware tasks will be advantageous.
Key responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, delivering exceptional customer service
- Log, diagnose, and resolve technical issues following ITIL processes
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with laptop/desktop setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Support IT projects, including system upgrades and hardware refreshes
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices
- 1–3 years’ experience in IT support (1st & 2nd line support)
- Comfortable with hardware upgrades (memory and disk replacement)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, and macOS
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and a positive, “can-do” attitude
