We’re working with one of Scotland’s most loved brands to recruit a Head of Technical who will play a pivotal role in ensuring product integrity and driving technical excellence.

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Technical function, including the NPD team, Technical Assistants, and QCs on the line.
- Oversee compliance with BRC standards, HACCP principles, and all relevant food safety legislation.
- Manage product specifications and ingredient declarations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for all technical matters with customers and auditors.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and processes.
Must-Have Experience:
- Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a senior technical role within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and retailer standards.
- Direct experience working with Marks & Spencer.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
