An established UK-based food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its HR team at a site based in Aberlour. This is a hands-on, generalist role supporting managers and employees across a varied employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, union-aware environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of employee relations matters.
  • Manage casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities for operational and support roles.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation.
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives and performance management processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure HR systems are kept up to date.
  • Support change initiatives and employee engagement activities on site.

About You

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Practical, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
