A global leader in offshore energy technology, my client designs and manufactures advanced subsea systems and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) for challenging deepâwater environments. Known for technical excellence and reliability, they support customers worldwide with innovative solutions.
What is the purpose of the role?
The Subsea Tooling Manager will take responsibility for the technical and commercial performance of the tooling product range, ensuring engineering excellence, cost efficiency, and strategic growth.
What will you be doing?
Technical Leadership
Lead design, development, and integration of subsea tooling products.
Oversee tooling engineers and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Drive continuous improvement in performance, reliability, and innovation.
Commercial & Strategic Management
Own pricing models, budgeting, and cost control.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customer RFQs.
Develop shortâterm revenue plans and longâterm growth strategies.
Identify market trends and opportunities for new product development.
Operational Support & HSE
Coordinate delivery of tooling products to meet customer expectations.
Champion safety and quality standards across all activities.
What will you need to thrive in the role?
Proven experience in subsea tooling, ROV systems, or subsea engineering (7+ years).
Strong technical leadership and commercial acumen.
Background in design/build environments and offshore energy standards (API, ISO, IMCA).
Ability to manage teams, vendors, and crossâfunctional stakeholders.
Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related engineering discipline.
