We're supporting our E&P client who are looking for an experienced

Senior Cost Engineer to support the delivery of their project portfolio through effective cost control, forecasting and reporting.

You'll be responsible for managing project budgets, tracking cost performance, producing forecasts and providing clear insight into variances and risks.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering teams, SAP and contractors, you'll help ensure projects are delivered with strong financial governance and accurate reporting.

What you'll bring

  • Significant experience in project cost control and forecasting.
  • Strong SAP knowledge, including WBS, PO reporting and cost analysis.
  • Understanding of project controls, including cost, planning, risk and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and build strong relationships across project teams and contractors.
  • APM, PMI or equivalent project controls qualification desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive cost professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and influencing project performance through high-quality cost insight and governance.

This role is being offered on a 4-5 month contract basis and sits within IR35.
