An experienced Quality Control / Assurance Engineer is required to join a leading global provider of advanced subsea technology solutions. This organisation is renowned for delivering innovative systems for deep-water intervention, including ROVs, trenchers, and submarine rescue systems, with a reputation for technical excellence and reliability in challenging environments.

Role Overview: As a Quality Control/Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards. Working both on-site and at supplier premises, you will carry out inspections, maintain documentation, and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings, on and off site.
- Verify mechanical, machining, and weld materials against specifications.
- Perform inspections across assembly, paint shop, and weld shop.
- Support engineering change control and vendor quality management.
- Prepare certification packages and maintain non-conformance registers.
- Monitor corrective and preventative actions for timely closure.
- Recommend process improvements and uphold standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 experience.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, TQM, and continuous improvement tools (PDCA, DMAIC, Six Sigma, 5S).
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project quality requirements.
- Experience in quality control within a mechanical component environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel; familiarity with measuring equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive approach, and ability to work under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to UK sites.
