Our Oil & Gas Operator client, based in Aberdeen, is seeking an experienced Offshore Maintenance Lead to provide effective direct and indirect leadership to the maintenance support and execution teams to deliver the ‘Asset Plan’.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and manage the multi-year maintenance budget, identifying opportunities to optimise and drive year-on-year savings.
- Develop synergies and cost saving opportunities with the other assets through contract optimisation.
- Ensure robust maintenance programmes are in place and deliver execution of maintenance in line with the Work Management Process (WMP).
- Meet and measure performance against company metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in the execution of maintenance.
- Contribute to meeting production targets by managing key equipment threats and vulnerabilities ensuring Safety and Environmentally Critical Equipment (SECE), and Business Critical Equipment (BCE), availability.
Requirements:
- Preferably degree educated in any technical discipline.
- Ideally a registered engineer, chartered / incorporated.
- Conversant with UK regulatory environment, standards, and industry best practices.
- Familiar with Performance Standards, SECE’s and the relationship with verifier.
- Experienced with maintenance management systems e.g., SAP, Maximo etc. and common systems used in the execution of different types of maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of SAP, specifically the financial aspects of requisitions and purchase orders, and the key transactions to understand maintenance programmes.
- Experience in setting maintenance strategies and oversight of maintenance delivery.
- Visible advocate of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, drives innovation and pace.
- Broad extensive knowledge of engineering technical practices.
