About the Opportunity

The business has grown significantly in recent years and now employs around 55 advisers nationwide, with plans to add around 10 advisers this year through planned intake cohorts rather than replacement hires. The next major intake is scheduled for July, and this role will be based from the firm’s St. Ives, Cambridgeshire office, supporting clients across the local area.

The Role

As a Trainee / Junior Adviser, you will join a structured 12‑month Adviser Development Programme, designed to take you from supported adviser to fully competent, client‑facing IFA.

You Will

  • Work closely with experienced advisers in a pod‑based structure
  • Attend client meetings and gradually take responsibility for your own client relationships
  • Be supported through compliance sign‑off (typically achieved within ~8 months)
  • Develop strong technical and relationship‑management skills

New advisers complete two weeks of initial training in Norwich (travel and accommodation fully paid), followed by a hybrid working pattern once embedded.

  • Structured 12‑month adviser programme
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, and role‑play/assessment stages
  • Compliance and competence sign‑off typically achieved within the first year

Package & Earnings

  • £35,000 – £60,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus structure:
    • Validation: 4x 40% bonus on income generated above validation
