We are working with an award winning, growing Waste Management business in the hunt for a Key Account Manager. This business is in growth mode and has won several awards over the last decade.
Salary: Depending on experience: 40k - 50k base, plus car package, plus annual bonus, plus company benefits.
Working Conditions: Home based, remote working and some office work weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and retaining and growing existing accounts (including by proactive account management).
- Complete and maintain an Account Development Plan (ADP).
- Understand and ensure compliance with the terms of the contract and SLA between the customer and the Company.
- Meet with the customer regularly to review and continually improve the service.
- Take ownership of the strategy for retention and growth.
- Identify and communicate risks/threats and solutions promptly.
- Identify opportunities for cross selling and upselling waste/resource management solutions.
- Contribute to the timely preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Selling TWM services - trade, hazardous, compactors, bailers and equipment.
- Represent the Company at external events, conferences, and meetings.
- Anticipate that meetings with customers and site waste audits will be conducted on a weekly basis.
Experience:
- Proven track record of achieving successful operation, retention, and growth of existing accounts in Waste.
- Extensive experience in customer service/account management in Waste - this is essential.
Skills:
- Strong confident personality with the drive and determination to meet with customers and make a difference.
- Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- The ability to exhibit innovative thinking, aimed at improving processes and achieving results.
