We are partnering with a well-established financial advisory firm, who have offices in both Birmingham and Nottingham, looking for an experienced adviser to take over an existing client bank worth circa £20m AUM.

This role is primarily home-based with a requirement to attend the office in Birmingham sporadically. The majority of your clients will be based around the Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire area, so living locally will be an advantage.

As an IFA, you will have a unique combination of managing an existing book of clients while also generating new business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IFA who enjoys building strong relationships and offering tailored advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and reach out to potential clients, gather detailed information, and assess their financial needs.
  • Comprehensive Advice: Conduct thorough research and analysis to make suitable and tailored recommendations for your clients.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all documentation is accurate and in line with regulatory requirements. Stay fully compliant with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and other relevant legislation.
  • Professional Development: Keep up-to-date with regulatory and technical developments, particularly in areas such as pension transfer, conversion, and opt-out business. Undertake appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain your status and competence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm, ensuring you are always meeting the required performance standards.
