A growing national financial planning firm is looking to add a Trainee Paraplanner to its expanding paraplanning team following continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within financial services administration, adviser support, or a junior paraplanning position who is looking to build a long-term career within financial planning. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team environment where you’ll receive hands-on exposure across pensions, investments, protection, annual reviews, and suitability reporting, alongside structured development and progression into a full paraplanning role.

The Role

  • Working closely with experienced Paraplanners and Financial Planners, you’ll support the wider advice process through:
    • Assisting with suitability reports and recommendation letters
    • Supporting annual review preparation
    • Conducting research across pensions, investments, and protection products
    • Preparing valuations, illustrations, and provider information
    • Supporting client meeting preparation and follow-up actions
    • Maintaining accurate client records and compliance documentation
    • Assisting with cashflow modelling and financial planning support
