A growing and well-established UK financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanning Team Leader to join its expanding support function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior paraplanner or existing team leader looking to take ownership of a technical support team within a collaborative and forward-thinking business. The role will focus on overseeing the day-to-day paraplanning function, ensuring high-quality technical support, maintaining compliance standards and driving operational efficiency across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing a team of paraplanners
  • Overseeing suitability report production and technical research
  • Supporting advisers on complex cases and technical queries
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and Consumer Duty principles
  • Monitoring team productivity and service standards
  • Improving paraplanning workflows and processes
  • Supporting training and development across the team
  • Collaborating with advisers, compliance and operational teams

Requirements:

  • Previous paraplanning leadership or senior paraplanning experience
  • DipPFS qualified (or equivalent Level 4 qualification)
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
  • Experience reviewing suitability reports and maintaining compliance standards
  • Strong organisational and people management skills
  • Ability to manage workloads, deadlines and process improvements effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and financial planning software
