The firm operates a high-quality advice model with strong infrastructure, centralised operations and business management support, and a clear partnership track for senior advisers. Due to ongoing expansion and succession planning, the firm is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join via their Self-Employed Partner Route, ideally bringing £10M–£15M+ transferable AUM. This is a premium opportunity for an adviser seeking brand strength, national footprint, an elite advice framework, and genuine long-term partnership potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service your own client book, delivering holistic financial planning and ongoing advice
  • Transfer and embed your existing clients into the firm’s advice proposition
  • Develop new client relationships through referrals, networking, and business development
  • Participate in regular one-to-ones with Business Managers on performance, growth, and professional development
  • Work collaboratively with paraplanners, operations and support teams
  • Ensure all advice is compliant, high-quality, and aligned with the company’s planning framework
  • Optional: Support junior advisers, paraplanners, or trainees where relevant to your background

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential
  • £10M+ transferable AUM (minimum threshold for partner model consideration)
  • Strong track record as an Independent Financial Adviser
  • Confident managing and advising HNW clients
  • Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS/Level 4 RQF)
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently and operate within a high-performance advice culture
  • Comfortable attending the London office bi-weekly or monthly
Desirable
  • Experience growing AUM from both existing relationships and new business
  • Chartered status (or working towards it)
  • Experience mentoring junior advisers or leading advice quality conversations
  • Ability to work productively during client contact restriction periods (if applicable)

Compensation Structure

  • Earnings £60,000–£100,000+, depending on transferable AUM and production
  • Self-employed structure with generous revenue splits
  • Partnership invitation available once self-employed earnings reach a set target
  • Employed model also available for candidates with smaller AUM (package dependent on book size and experience)
  • Clear onboarding pathway for advisers with temporary client contact restrictions (e.g., interim paraplanning or non-client roles until contact resumes)

Working Model

  • Hybrid or remote arrangement, with periodic London office visits
  • Modern, centralised CRM/back-office and operations support
  • Business Manager oversight for adviser development and performance
  • National footprint with strong brand reputation and ongoing acquisitive growth

  • Long-term progression to equity partnership
  • High-quality platform, tools and investment proposition (supported by the wider group)
  • Ability to shape your practice while leveraging national infrastructure
