A well-established IFA practice with an office in Newbury, Berkshire is looking to appoint an experienced IFA Administrator / Junior Paraplanner to support two highly experienced Financial Advisers following a retirement. This is a hands-on hybrid role combining senior IFA administration with junior paraplanning exposure, ideal for someone who already has solid experience and is looking to continue developing technically.

The Role

  • You will provide end-to-end support to two Advisers (both long-established and highly experienced), helping to deliver a high-quality, client-focused advice service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full administrative support to two Financial Advisers
  • Managing LOAs, valuations and fund switches
  • Processing new business, reviews and ongoing servicing
  • Supporting suitability report preparation and recommendations
  • Assisting with paraplanning duties and technical research
  • Maintaining accurate client records and workflow management
  • Liaising with providers, platforms and third parties
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA and internal procedures

What They’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IFA Administrator or Client Support role (more preferred)
  • Some exposure to paraplanning or report writing (must be genuine; not just in title)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable supporting senior advisers and managing responsibility
  • Part-qualified candidates welcome – Level 4 fully supported
  • Ambition to develop technically, but not someone looking to move into an advising role
