We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Paraplanner to join a client-focused financial planning team. The role involves supporting advisers in delivering high-quality financial advice while ensuring compliance and suitability across all client recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage client review packs, including portfolio analysis, risk assessments, and suitability documentation.
- Draft suitability reports for investment, pension, and retirement planning.
- Support advisers with advice qualification, ensuring recommendations are practical, compliant, and aligned with client objectives.
- Assist with new business processes, including client onboarding, documentation, and provider liaison.
- Carry out calculations for pension allowances, CGT, IHT, and other tax-efficient strategies.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the team with technical queries, process improvement, and administrative tasks.
Skills & Experience
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, and tax wrappers.
- Experience producing suitability reports and supporting advisers.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Confident using platforms such as Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, and other portfolio systems.
