We’re seeking a technically strong and client-focused Technical Specialist / Senior Technical Assistant (Paraplanner) to join our growing team in Gerrards Cross.

The Role
Supporting Advisers throughout the client journey, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions and helping clients achieve their long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and supporting client review and new business meetings
- Gathering and analysing client information
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection
- Producing detailed suitability reports and recommendation documents
- Undertaking cashflow modelling using Voyant
- Using Genovo to assist with report writing and suitability documentation
- Liaising with Discretionary Fund Managers (DFMs) and product providers
- Assisting Advisers during client meetings where appropriate
- Ensuring all work meets regulatory and compliance standards
- Supporting ongoing client reviews and technical planning requirements
About You
We’re keen to speak with individuals who have
- At least 3 years’ experience within an IFA / Financial Planning environment
- Previous experience in paraplanning, adviser support or technical administration
- Strong suitability report writing skills
- Experience of financial planning research and technical analysis
- Exposure to cashflow modelling
- Experience working with DFMs
- Knowledge of Voyant and Genovo (highly desirable)
- A strong understanding of FCA compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) achieved
- Or candidates who are close to completing their Level 4 qualification will also be considered
