Job Description

Position: Dispute Resolution Lawyer

Location: Yeovil (or Bath or Poundbury)

Work Type: Full-time, Hybrid Working Available

Hours: 9:00 am – 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday (Flexible working available)

Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 DOE

The Role

We’re looking for a talented and client-focused Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join this well-respected team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of personal and commercial litigation matters (excluding property disputes, which are handled by a separate team). You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced litigation department, with access to dedicated support, ongoing training, and clear career progression pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a variety of disputes and claims
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Conducting legal research and applying the SRA Code of Conduct
  • Representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver excellent client service

What We’re seeking:

  • Minimum 2 years PQE in dispute resolution
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Client-focused with the ability to build trust and confidence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a team
